Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a K-12 school located in Basin, WY for the 2025/2026 school year. This position is a full academic year contract role requiring onsite work only.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and provide speech and language therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each students needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other school professionals to support student communication goals.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and generate required reports.
- Participate in meetings such as IEP (Individualized Education Program) and multidisciplinary team sessions.
Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language developmental milestones and disorders.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage caseloads efficiently and maintain thorough documentation.
