Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC certification is needed to support a school in Indianapolis, IN. This contract position begins immediately and offers a full-time schedule Monday through Friday from November through February, covering a maternity leave. Following this period, the role transitions to part-time, with 15 to 20 hours per week available until May 19, 2023. The part-time schedule is flexible and can be discussed based on mutual availability.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Indiana licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- New graduates are welcome if licensed
Position Details:
- Caseload of approximately 75 students, ranging from kindergarten to 8th grade
- One school site
- Responsibilities include administering speech and language evaluations, delivering individualized and group therapy sessions, and serving as the lead CCC provider
- Collaborate closely with families, teachers, and staff to support student progress
- Manage and educate on Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems
- Teletherapy options are available but require coordination with an onsite contact person
