Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Providing speech-language services in a K-12 educational setting requires specialized knowledge and a mitment to supporting student munication development. This opportunity offers a contract position based in Linden, AL, focused on delivering teletherapy and in-person speech-language pathology services throughout the academic year.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting evaluations, assessments, and diagnostic testing to identify students speech and language needs
- Developing and implementing individualized service plans aligned with educational goals
- Delivering therapy sessions tailored to the unique requirements of K-12 students
- Collaborating with educators and support staff to enhance student progress
- Maintaining accurate documentation and reporting in pliance with school policies
Qualifications:
- Current Certification of Clinical petence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Experience providing speech therapy in school settings
- Proven ability to conduct teletherapy sessions effectively
- Strong organizational skills to manage caseload and documentation requirements
- Excellent munication and interpersonal skills for working with students, families, and school personnel
