Outpatient Ortho Physical Therapist - PT
POSITION TYPE: Physical Therapist
SETTING: Outpatient Orthopedics
LOCATION: Oxnard, CA
SHIFT: Days; Full-Time
Join a dynamic healthcare team as a Physical Therapist and make a lasting impact on the lives of patients by helping them recover, restore, and improve their mobility and overall quality of life.
The Physical Therapist is responsible for delivering exceptional patient care while also assisting with clinic operations, supervising therapy aides, PTAs, and students (as applicable), and serving as a liaison with patients, physicians, and staff.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitor delivery of patient services, including forecasting needs based on patient load, staffing levels, and regulatory requirements.
- Recruit, supervise, and direct staff in collaboration with leadership to ensure efficient operations and excellent patient care.
- Provide input for staff performance reviews.
- Maintain clinic physical space and equipment.
- Assist in budget planning to support high-quality patient care.
- Participate in meetings, special projects, and collaborative efforts with leadership and clinical staff.
- Perform and document initial evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Design and implement individualized treatment programs to restore function, alleviate pain, and promote independence.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and referring providers on treatment planning and progress.
- Educate patients and families on exercises and care to continue at home.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

Education and Experience
- Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Successful completion of required licensure exam
- Active Physical Therapy license in good standing
- Current CPR certification
- Up-to-date continuing education as required by state regulations
- Familiarity with healthcare policies and regulations
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- Physical Therapy License (active, in good standing)
- Current CPR certification
- Current TB clearance
