About Us

Our Elite Imaging Team supports a range of advanced procedures, and we’re expanding our commitment to cutting-edge diagnostic cardiology—including dedicated CT and cardiac MRI services.

Role Overview

As our dedicated Cardiac MRI/CT Imaging Specialist, you’ll lead our cardiovascular MRI imaging program.

  • Perform Level III cardiac MRI and Level II/III cardiac CT with CTFFR, advanced perfusion, structural evaluation, tissue characterization, scar/fibrosis quantification, cardiomyopathy workup, viability analysis, myocarditis, vascular angiography, and congenital heart disease imaging
  • Interpret complex non-invasive imaging and deliver high-quality reports to referring physicians.

What You’ll Do

  • Image Acquisition & Protocol Design: Oversee MRI and CT protocol setup, ECG gating strategies, real-time or cine imaging, LGE, T1/T2 mapping, stress techniques, and vascular angiography. Collaborate closely with technologists to optimize image quality and diagnostic value.
  • Procedure Oversight: Supervise scans requiring physician involvement (e.g. administration of adenosine, beta-blockers) and complex device or graft imaging.
  • Reporting & Consultation: Provide in-depth interpretations and guidance on findings, including scar burden, viability, coronary anatomy, and cardiomyopathies. Serve as consultative imaging lead for multidisciplinary teams.
  • Research & Innovation: Participate in clinical trials, support research workflows, and contribute to academic or institutional imaging protocols.
  • Collaborative Practice: Closely integrate with our structural heart, EP, interventional, and echo teams to streamline diagnostics and triage.

Team & Support

  • Join a multidisciplinary team: 16 cardiologists, 4 cardiothoracic surgeons, 3 vascular surgeons, supported by 45+ physicians and 65+ APPs across the Heart Institute.
  • Nocturnal and weekend coverage shared by advanced practice providers ensures predictable workload and protected imaging time for you.

Why You’ll Love This Job

  • State-of-the-art facilities: Medical Center is equipped with modern CT, high-field MRI, echo labs, and cardiac catheterization/EP labs—and is nationally recognized among the top cardiovascular hospitals.
  • High procedural volume: Approximately 300–400 cath and EP cases monthly, including 12–16 TAVR cases and advanced structural and peripheral imaging.
  • Level One STEMI center: Serves a catchment that handles ~190 STEMI cases per year with full 24/7 coverage.
  • Robust growth and research infrastructure: Participate in clinical trials and quality initiatives across imaging and interventional cardiology.

What We Offer

  • Competitive compensation with salary plus performance-based bonus
  • Signing/commencement bonus, educational loan repayment, and relocation support
  • Full health, dental, and vision coverage, plus PTO and CME reimbursement
  • Fully staffed APP support during nights and weekends to enable scheduled imaging workflows
