Title: Mammography Tech
Location: Maryville, IL
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 5x8 Days (Mon-Fri, with variable times; rotating Saturdays every 6th week)
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform outpatient screening and diagnostic mammography exams as well as bone density.
- Procedures include stereotactic and ultrasound-guided biopsies, magseed and wire localization, and post clip placements.
- Techs will not be required to learn biopsies or localization exams but must be comfortable with post clip exams.
- Work setting includes inpatient and community hospital environments.
- Daily census averages 30–40, with 2 procedure rooms in the unit.
- Department requires 2 years of experience (no first-time travelers accepted).
- Rotating weekend coverage required (every 6th Saturday).
- No on-call required.
- RTO restrictions apply: must be finalized with submission, no RTO first week, and no more than 10 days per assignment.
- Scrubs: Black (Pink tops acceptable).
- Certifications required: ARRT, BLS, Illinois IEMA, Mammography (must be active; pending licenses not accepted).
