h2About the Department/h2pThe Child Care Attendant is responsible for providing childcare services for members' children who are using the Germantown Athletic Club child care facility.brbrspan style="color:inherit; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px;"Child Care Hours: 8:00am- 8:00pm (Monday - Thursday), 8:00am- 1 :00pm (Friday), 8:00am-12:00 pm (Saturday), and 12:00pm- 4:00pm (Sunday)/spanbr style="color:inherit; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px;"br style="color:inherit; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px;"span style="color:inherit; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px;"Schedule: Shifts are scheduled based on staff availability and department needs; 4 - 6 hour shifts; strongshift times range from 8:00am-1 :00pm/strong and 4:00pm to 8:00pm throughout the week including Saturdays (8:00am to 12:00pm) and Sunday (12:00pm to 4:00pm). /spanbrbrspan style="color:inherit; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px;"strongWe especially need attendants to work the 8:00am-1:00pm shift./strong/span/ph2Position Duties/h2pul liSign children in and out following established procedures /liliAttentively watch and attend to children /liliMaintain clean, orderly areas, picking up as needed and sanitizing toys and equipment as instructed /liliPlan and organize activities appropriate for the various ages to create a fun, playful and safe environment /liliHandle complaints and comments and refer if necessary to proper management staff /liliMonitor and assist children with use of bathroom facility /liliProvide first aid as necessary/li/ul/ph2Other Qualifications/h2pul liExperience working with children and an understanding of good quality childcare /liliMust be creative, outgoing, flexible and energetic /liliRequires ability to communicate at all levels /lili Requires CPR/AED Certification or ability to obtain /liliExperience working in a childcare center preferred /lili18 years of age or older preferred/li/ul/p
