If you feel called to make a meaningful impact through empathetic, person-centered care, and thrive in a culture that values collaboration and purpose, we welcome you to join our team./span/pp/ppb**This is a temporary position**/b/pp/ppPOSITION SUMMARY:/ppUnder the general direction of the Manager, Radiology and the immediate supervision of the Lead MRI Technologist, performs imaging procedures at a technical level not requiring direct supervision.  Performs a variety of procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative.  The MRI Technologist will assume responsibility and accountability for a designated area./pp/ppEDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE:/ppuDesired/u:/ppThree years’ experience as an MRI Technologist in an acute care facility/pp/ppLICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS:/ppuMinimum/u:/ppCurrent license issued by ARRT/ppCurrent CPR Certification/pp/ppuDesired/u:/ppAcquired certification in specialized area from a recognized certificate agency if available/ppARRT Advanced Level MRI Certification/ppFluoroscopy Permit issued by the State of California/ppCurrent full Certificate of Radiologic Technology issued by the Department of Health Services, State of California (CRT)/pp/ppSKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES:/ppspanDemonstrates a thorough knowledge of human structure and function, patient care, positioning, principles of radiographic exposure, quality assurance, radiation physics, radiation protection, radiobiology, cross-sectional anatomy and specialized techniques as required for a MRI Technologist. Must be intelligent and self motivated. Excellent communication skills and problem solving techniques are required. Must have the ability to motivate, delegate and analyze information.
