We are staffed by board-certified emergency physicians and specially trained nurses who are certified in trauma care and advanced life support. We are a designated Level II Trauma Center and have 38 private patient rooms, including rooms dedicated to the special needs of children, trauma victims and psychiatric patients. We provide surgical services for trauma, neurosurgical, oral/maxillofacial, orthopedic, and plastics concerns in addition to having one of the busiest stroke programs in Minnesota./ppThenbsp;ETC Techniciannbsp;is istrongueither annbsp;LPN or Paramedic/u/strong/inbsp;and participates in the continuous observation and assessment of patient needs while reporting to the Medical Provider and/or RN. The ETC Technician utilizes standard and individualized plans of care while serving as the primary care provider for a portion of our patient population. Some duties include starting adult and pediatric IV’s, setting up critical care equipment, and performing documentation during Trauma Code activation.
