If you are offered a position that requires a background check you will be provided additional documentation to complete once an offer has been extended/i. /b/h1p style="text-align:inherit"/pp style="text-align:left"bJob Details:/b/ppPay: $17.70/hr/pp/pp3rd Shift:  10:00 p.m. – 6:30 a.m. Monday-Friday/pp/ppbSUMMARY/b:  This position is responsible for general building and equipment maintenance inclusive of snow removal in the winter and other seasonal landscaping tasks./pp/ppbESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES:/b/pulliGeneral repair and maintenance of building, forklifts, pallet jacks, company vehicles, and all other equipment or buildings owned by the company/liliMaintain company grounds inclusive of snow/ice removal, lawn work throughout the year/liliMaintenance and safe operation of company vehicles/liliRepair and replacement of facility lighting/liliRepair of facility plumbing needs/liliTrash removal from the facility/liliMaintain the cleanliness of the maintenance shop/liliSweeping of the parking lot/liliMaintain the bone yard and inventory if needed/liliAssist with roof repairs and clean-up/liliAll other essential duties as directed by the Maintenance Manager/li/ulp/ppbQUALIFICATIONS:/b/pulliAbility to carry out essential duties and responsibilities efficiently, within safety guidelines/liliAbility to operate vehicles efficiently, within safety guidelines/liliAbility to efficiently use hand tools and trades type tools, to provide maintenance of facility as required/liliGood mechanic background required/liliGeneral knowledge of vehicle maintenance including preventative and scheduled maintenance./liliGood plumbing skills/liliGeneral knowledge of electrical and lighting/liliMust have a valid driver’s license/liliWillingness to work overtime and be called into work for emergency situations as required/li/ulp/ppb            Education and/or Experience:/b/pulliHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred/liliAssociates’ degree or equivalent in mechanical trade preferred/li/ulp/ppbCommunication Skills:/b/pulliMust be able to communicate within the department and understand directions/liliMust be able to maintain records and communicate well/li/ulp/ppbPhysical Requirements / Environment:  /b/pulliStand/Walk: Continuously/liliLift/Carry: Frequently (1-10 lbs), Occasionally (up to 35-50 lbs.)/liliOther Physical Requirements:ulliFrequently; bend/stoop, squat, crawl, climb, reach above shoulder (up to 2 ft.), crouch, kneel, push/pull, grasp/liliContinuously; working around moving machinery, in areas with marked changes in temperature and humidity, exposure to dust and fumes, occasionally working at unprotected heights, around and amongst dead birds and a strong chicken odor/li/ul/li/ululliMust be able to read, write and comprehend the English language in order to maintain records and communicate well/li/ulp/ppbExternal Requirement: Must have a minimum of 6-month work experience.
