h2About the Department/h2pEnsure facility is open and ready for user groups at each of the scheduled programs/activities./ph2Position Duties/h2pol style="margin-bottom: 3pt;"li class="MsoNormal"Attend required staff meetings and all training sessions./lili class="MsoNormal"Open and close the building./lili class="MsoNormal"Ensure daily schedules are maintained./lili class="MsoNormal"Assist with front desk daily operations./lili class="MsoNormal"Complete daily cash out reports accurately./lili class="MsoNormal"Ensure refrigeration plant is operating properly./lili class="MsoNormal"Post daily announcements for proper staff communications./lili class="MsoNormal"Report to work on time, and leave work after all tasks are completed./lili class="MsoNormal"Report and discuss any problems with Recreation Supervisor./lili class="MsoNormal"Ensure all state tramway requirements are met./lili class="MsoNormal"Take accurate daily attendance reports./lili class="MsoNormal"Submit all reports on time to the appropriate person./lili class="MsoNormal"Dress appropriately for all activities./lili class="MsoNormal"Maintain equipment and supplies. /lili class="MsoNormal"Thorough cleaning of all areas throughout each day./lili class="MsoNormal"Administer appropriate first aid, then immediately submit an accident report form to the Recreation Supervisor for any accidents or emergencies/li/olp class="MsoNormal" /pp class="MsoNormal"strongOther Duties:/strong/pp class="MsoNormal"Perform related duties and responsibilities as required./pp class="MsoNormal"stronguJOB QUALIFICATIONS/u/strong/pp class="MsoNormal"strong /strongstrongKnowledge, Skill and Ability/strong/pp class="MsoNormal"stronguKnowledge of:/u/strong/pp class="MsoNormal"Operations, services, and activities of City Parks and Recreation programs./pp class="MsoNormal"Prior experience working with facilities programs and user groups./pp class="MsoNormal"Appropriate techniques for dealing with conflict resolution and disputes./pp class="MsoNormal"Reasonable discipline./pp class="MsoNormal"stronguAbility to:/u/strong/pp class="MsoNormal"Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing./pp class="MsoNormal"Operate a computer and relevant software programs./pp class="MsoNormal"Establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work./pp class="MsoNormal"Maintain physical condition appropriate to the performance of assigned duties and responsibilities.  /pMaintain mental capacity that allows the capability of effectively interactingbrbrstrongWork Environment:/strongbrIndoor and outdoor recreational facilities, may work in or around water and slippery surfaces as well as very cold temperatures.brPeriods of mobility with light and heavy physical activity.brstrong /strongbrstrongPhysical Activities:/strongbrAbility to effectively interact with other individuals (co-workers, public, children, etc.);brAbility to bend, stoop, stretch, reach, carry, grasp and turn objects;brAbility to climb stairs; and stand, sit and walk for up to 60 minutes at a time;brAcceptable eyesight to read printed material a computer monitor and to operate office equipment;brAcceptable hearing to communicate with others in person or through telephonic means;brAcceptable verbal and conversation skills to effectively communicate with others via the phone, and in person./ph2Minimum Qualifications/h2pstrongEducation or Formal Training and Licenses:/strongbrFormal or informal education or training which ensures the ability to read and write at a level necessary for successful job performance.brPossession of or ability to obtain, CPR, AED and 1supst/sup Aid certifications.brnbsp;brstrongExperience:/strongbrPrefer experience working with user groups or programs related to the facility to be managed./ph2Other Qualifications/h2pstrong /strongNOTE:  This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.  Employee may perform other related duties as negotiated to meet the ongoing needs of the organization./p
