Our Customer Care personnel are responsible for providing professional customer-focused security and life safety services for the people and the property they protect and our employees./p h2Essential Duties and Responsibilities/h2 ul liMaintain a professional demeanor while aiding customers, employees, visitors, and guests/li liMaintain a visible presence in the facility / building assigned/li liMonitor the environment, with the ability to detect suspicious and unsafe activity/li liResponsible for becoming familiar with incoming and outgoing traffic, know the customers, tenants, visitors, and guests/li liGreet customers, visitors, staff, tenants, guests in a professional manner always/li liAnswers questions and assists guests and employees in a customer focused, supportive manner/li liAnswer all phones in a professional manner/li liPermit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances and exits/li liKnow the facility / building policies and procedures, and enforce them within the required limits/li liPerform required patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle/li liObserve departing personnel to protect against the theft of company property and ensure authorized removal of property is conducted within appropriate customer requirements/li liFollow established emergency action planning and procedures/li liMonitor alarms and systems, as required /li liPrepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities, as directed/li liThe essential duties and responsibilities may differ by customer location assigned/li /ul h2Knowledge and Skill Requirements/h2 ul liState or municipality mandated security officer licenses/li liMinimum High School Diploma, GED or the equivalent/li liMust have reliable means of communication and transportation/li liMust have a security guard license or be able to obtain one within an acceptable period/li liStrong interpersonal communication skills and friendly, professional demeanor/li liNeat and professional appearance/li liComputer skills and be able to demonstrate the ability to effectively operate and manage security and communication devices. /li liWrite routine correspondence, to include log entries and incident reporting/li liPrevious contract security, law enforcement, military, customer service experience helpful/li /ul h2Compensation/h2 pHarvard Protection Services offers a competitive hourly pay rate 19.00 with health welfare, dental, vision, sick leave, vacation, and 401K enrollment benefit opportunities./p p /p pstrongAbout Harvard Protection Services: /strong/p pHarvard Protection Services maintains true to our long-standing belief, Employees First and Customer Service.
