This is a working supervisor, organizing and taking on daily shift challenges. The Valet Supervisor will be responsible for fostering a working environment that includes safety, teamwork, leadership, and excellence. This position will be the onsite point person for employees during the designated shift./ppbr//ppstrongResponsibilities/strong/pulliOnsite shift lead, ensuring uniform policy, attendance policy, and all other Cornerstone Parking Group and client expectations and policies are maintained and monitored./liliProvide leadership and/or support, be visible, available and supportive for entire shift for staff and client./liliWeekly and monthly operational and employee recap with Valet department and leadership./liliTrain staff team members on Valet duties and responsibilities./liliOrganization of attendance and tracking valet employees’ work hours./liliReport to the Valet Manager any significant challenges, urgent situations, absences, performance issues or any important information that could affect the operations directly./liliPractice “hands-on” leadership, coaching through MBWA (Management by Walking Around), and lead by example./liliCommunication with other shift supervisors and managers with operational demands./liliResponsible for collection and organization of equipment: signs, parking cones/delineators, rope and stake, valet podium, valet software, uniforms./liliComply with cash handling practices set by the operations leadership team/li/ulpstrongBenefits/strong/pulli$24.00/hr./lili136 PTO Hours, available upon hire/liliMedical, Dental and Vision is available after 60 days for full time employees (30 hours/week)/liliGroup life, Short Term Disability/Long Term Disability: Automatic enrollment, 100% of premiums paid for by Cornerstone/lili401(k) is available after first six months of employment and 1000 hours worked/liliUniform provided/liliFun, challenging work environment with opportunities for advancement/li/ulpRequirements/pulliValid driver’s license./lili18 years of age or older./liliPrevious parking, valet, payment collection, or event experience preferred./liliHigh school diploma or equivalent./liliAttention to detail; organizational, problem solving, and critical thinking skills./liliPrevious customer service experience./liliIs dependable, on time, and can adapt to a changing environment./liliTeam-oriented, demonstrating servant leadership./li/ulpstrongPhysical Demands/strong/pulliAble to stand and walk approximately 95% of shift./liliAble to sit, stand, stoop, move up/down, walk, jog and run as needed./liliAbility to work outside in diverse weather conditions, to include heat, cold, rain and snow./li/ul
