AS638 - Thursday-Monday Housekeeper - Upper East Side

Overview: p style="margin: 0px;"A lovely family of five on the Upper East Side is seeking a full-time housekeeper to assist with the care of their home. The schedule for this role is Thursday through Monday, with a guaranteed 50 hours per week, and one sleepover per week (Friday night). The detailed schedule is as follows- Thursday 10am-8pm, Friday 12pm-8pm (plus sleepover), Saturday 7am-7pm, Sunday 8am-8pm, Monday 9am-5pm. The family has three children ages 7, 5, and 2- the family has a full-time nanny, but the housekeeper should be comfortable babysitting 1-2 nights per week, and assisting with some light childcare duties as needed, particularly over the weekend. /p Responsibilities: ulliDeep cleaning/liliOrganization and tidying/liliFamily laundry and ironing/liliBasic household errands/liliGrocery shopping as needed/liliAssisting with serving/cleanup when the family hosts dinner parties/liliOverseeing children’s bath/bedtime routines 1-2 nights per week /liliPreparing basic children’s meals/liliAccompanying children to activities/liliEngaging and playing with the children, particularly on the weekend/li/ul Qualifications: ulliFlexible, with excellent attention to detail/liliExperience with and comfort working with children/liliAbility to sort laundry and determine which items must be sent for specialty service/liliAbility to work well on a team- this role will overlap with a full-time housekeeper, full-time nanny, and involved parents/liliComfort working with high end fabrics and furnishings/liliNurturing and loving, engaging with children/liliGreat communication skills/li/ul Requirements: ulliUS work Authorization/liliFlexibility for date nights several times per month/liliMust sleep over every Friday/liliMust live-in 5 days per week in the Hamptons from late June through Labor Day/liliAvailability for travel 1-2 times per year is NOT required, but would be a bonus/liliDriving and swimming are NOT required, but would be an asset/li/ul Salary and Benefits: ulli$40-45/hour gross (Annual compensation estimated to be in the $130-150k range)/lili$100/night for sleeping over (whether in NYC, Hamptons, or traveling)/liliPerformance based summer and end of year bonuses/liliFederal holidays, 10 days paid vacation days + 5 sick/personal days to take as needed/liliMonthly metro card/liliUber provided if working late/li/ul
