As a Termite Technician you are the first line of defense in preserving and safeguarding customers#39; properties. The inspections, prevention, and treatment services that you provide will create peace of mind and comfort for our customers./span/pp/ppbResponsibilities include but are not limited to the following:/b/pp/pullipspanIdentify customer’s termite problems and have knowledge of termite behaviors and habits to determine remedial steps/span/p/lilipspanPerform termite treatment services safely and according to company guidelines and standard practices/span/p/lilipspanApplying anti-termite treatments to structures according to schedule, safety procedures and label instructions./span/p/lilipspanCommunicate to the customer critical conditions that are conducive to termite activity discuss procedures and structural modifications, which may be supplemental to treatment process/span/p/lilipspanVerifying that job specifications are appropriate for each work order/span/p/lilipspanOperate and maintain service vehicles and equipment/span/p/lilipspanCompleting production forms documenting services provided/span/p/lilipspanInteracting with customers and explaining services provided/span/p/li/ulp/ppbEssential Job Functions:/b/pp/pullipspanTolerate a variety of environmental conditions, including seasonal weather, damp and/or dusty locations/span/p/lilipspanPrepare the job site for treatment/span/p/lilipspanEnter and exit structures and crawl spaces; climb over and on top of structures; ascend and descend stairs and ladders/span/p/lilipspanYou need to be comfortable working 20 feet up on a ladder along with working in small confined spaces./span/p/lilipspanGeneral laborer, carpentry, cement, roofing, gutter and attic experience is plus/span/p/lilipspanAbility to work on a roofs and high areas/span/p/lilipspanLots of moving around — regularly sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling, up and down stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles/span/p/lilipspanYou’ll need to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), like an OSHA-compliant respirator, and you’ll need to be okay with regularly working in confined spaces, narrow aisles, or passageways (anywhere the critters live)/span/p/li/ulp/pp/ppbWhat do you need?/b/pp/pullipspanClean shaven face- for safety reasons (rebreathers have to be able to seal your face)/span/p/lilipspanHigh school diploma or GED/span/p/lilipspanMust possess a valid driver#39;s license from state of residence /spanspan(/spanspanCompany vehicle and gas card provided)/span/p/lilipspanAt least 1 years of customer service, experience in termite control is a plus/span/p/lilipspanStrong attention to detail and willingness to learn/span/p/lilipspanBe flexible with working hours, Monday-Friday and Saturdays as needed/span/p/lilipspanLicenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and/or local regulations (covered by us)/span/p/lilipspanBasic math skills — add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
