Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and polished, part time Wine Server to join our team of pros. This is a year round position, roughly 25 per week. We require full weekend availability.
The Server is the face of our winery and plays an integral role in our customers dining experience. You will build rapport with customers, answer questions about the menu, take orders, and serve food and drinks. The ideal candidate is friendly, outgoing, and has fantastic attention to detail. We do not offer table side service. You must have at least one year of previous experience as a server in an upscale environment .

Responsibilities:

• Be a Shady Creek wine expert!
• This is a year round position
• Accurately enter food and wine orders into POS system
• Take food and wine orders from customers
• Pour and serve wine
• Answer questions about the food menu and preparation
• Sell wine club memberships
• Assist in other areas whenever necessary

Qualifications:

• At least one year of previous experience as a beverage server in an upscale environment
• Full weekend availability
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Valid state of Indiana alcohol server's permit
• Ability to work in a very fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with POS systems
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for long periods and carrying cases of wine
