Duties of the Equipment Reliability Engineer:
Improve, monitor, and manage maintenance reliability tracking techniques and KPIs
Conduct equipment reliability testing and analyze results to make changes
Create and improve preventative maintenance procedures aimed at increasing process efficiency
Work with other plant departments (management, production, engineering) to understand equipment and facilities issues
Assist maintenance and engineering in facilities and equipment troubleshooting
Create a proactive maintenance environment
Assist with capital projects aimed at improving systems and facilities
Provide technical input to determine priority and scope of equipment repairs
Assist in developing and maintaining plant mechanical and safety standards
Requirements for the Equipment Reliability Engineer:
Previous experience with improving equipment reliability in manufacturing processes
Chemical processing experience highly desired
Prior experience with reliability inspections and testing
Proven equipment troubleshooting skills
