D-BAT Marble Falls is an indoor baseball and softball training facility focused on world class instruction, modern tech, and a family friendly experience. We offer cage rentals, pitching machines, private lessons, camps, clinics, and a pro shop. We are building a team that loves serving local athletes and families.
The Role
The Assistant General Manager is a customer obsessed operator who drives daily results in membership sales, scheduling, and staff leadership. You will be the right hand to the General Manager, making sure the facility runs smoothly, members feel known by name, and the team delivers an excellent experience every visit.
What you will do
- Lead daily operations including opening and closing, front desk coverage, cash reconciliation, inventory checks, and facility readiness
- Own membership growth through consultative sales, prospect follow up, and referral programs
- Manage the schedule for cages, machines, camps, clinics, and private lessons to maximize utilization
- Recruit, train, and coach part time staff and instructors on service standards and safety
- Handle member service questions in person, by phone, text, and email with speed and empathy
- Support marketing efforts such as local outreach, social media posts, and in facility promotions
- Track key metrics including new memberships, cancellations, lesson revenue.
- Ensure safety, cleanliness, and equipment care standards are met at all times
- Coordinate with vendors and corporate partners as needed
- Optional: provide private lessons or small group training if qualified and scheduled
You bring
- Service first mindset with clear communication and a calm presence in a busy environment
- Experience in retail, fitness, youth sports, or hospitality management is helpful but not required
- Comfortable with point of sale and member management software and basic spreadsheets
- Organized, dependable, and willing to work evenings and weekends when families visit most
- Ability to lift and move up to 35 pounds and be on your feet for extended periods
- Youth baseball or softball knowledge is a plus, not a requirement
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus, or willingness to complete after hire
- Must pass a background check
Schedule
Full time role with a mix of weekday, evening, and weekend shifts. Peak hours align with after school and weekend demand.
