Key Responsibilities:
Warehouse Operations & Logistics Management:
Oversee and manage all aspects of daily shipping and receiving operations, ensuring efficient flow of materials, equipment, and finished goods.
Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, including scheduling deliveries/pick-ups, verifying documentation, and resolving discrepancies with carriers.
Ensure all incoming materials are accurately inspected, received, and stored according to company procedures and safety standards.
Supervise the preparation of outgoing shipments, ensuring proper packaging, labeling, and documentation for domestic and international destinations.
Inventory Control & Accuracy:
Implement and maintain robust inventory control procedures to ensure precise tracking of all materials, equipment, and components.
Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories, investigating and resolving discrepancies to maintain high inventory accuracy.
Optimize warehouse layout and storage solutions to maximize space utilization and improve material accessibility.
Manage inventory levels to ensure stock availability for production and project job sites while minimizing excess or obsolete inventory.
Team Leadership & Supervision:
Directly supervise, train, and mentor warehouse staff, fostering a positive, productive, and safety-conscious work environment.
Develop and manage daily work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor performance to ensure operational goals are met.
Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and identify training needs for team members.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement and accountability within the warehouse team.
Administrative & Reporting:
Ensure accurate and timely data entry for all warehouse transactions into the inventory management and production reporting systems.
Generate and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly production and inventory reports, providing insights and recommendations to management for operational planning and improvement.
Maintain meticulous documentation for all shipping, receiving, and inventory activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Safety, Compliance & Process Improvement:
Enforce and promote strict adherence to all safety protocols, company policies, and OSHA regulations within the warehouse.
Identify operational bottlenecks and inefficiencies within warehouse processes and propose and implement effective solutions.
Collaborate closely with production, purchasing, and project management teams to ensure seamless material flow and support overall factory objectives.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1 years in a supervisory or lead role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team in a fast-paced setting.
Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving operational challenges.
Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
Comfortable working in a dynamic, hands-on factory environment, which may include exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels.
Highly Advantageous Skills (a significant plus!):
Proficiency in operating heavy machinery (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) with relevant certification.
