  • UT Health Tyler, the flagship hospital of the system, has 502 licensed beds specializing in advanced acute care medicine. Our hospital includes a 24-hour ER with Level 1 trauma center, a comprehensive stroke center, more than 500 physicians and a full complement of subspecialty groups.

Responsibilities

  • UT Health East Texas Orthopedics and Sports Medicine is a recognized leader evaluating and treating Orthopedic injuries.
  • As an Athletic Trainer, you are expected to be a competent clinician, possessing experience, knowledge and skills in providing non-operative Orthopedic care.
  • You will be responsible for providing technical and clinical assistance under the direction of licensed personnel to provide care for a defined group of patients to achieve quality patient outcomes.
  • The Athletic Trainer contributes to a culture of excellence by delivering evidence-based care in a multidisciplinary model and demonstrates commitment to lifelong learning.

Qualifications

Job Requirements: 

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Trainer or other health related field.
  • Texas Athletic Trainer Licensure

Preferred Requirements:

  • NATABOC Certification
