Master’s degree in School Counseling, Counseling or a related field, active School Counselor license and 1+ years School Counselor experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A K-12 school in Richwood, WV is seeking a qualified Counselor for the current school year on a contract basis. This role is ideal for a professional dedicated to supporting students' social, emotional, and academic development in a prehensive school environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counseling to students across all K-12 grade levels.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to identify student needs and develop supportive interventions.
- Monitor and document student progress and maintain confidential records.
- Assist in crisis intervention and implement prevention programs.
- Facilitate referrals to external mental health services when necessary.

Qualifications:
- Relevant counseling certification or licensure appropriate for K-12 educational settings.
