Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school psychologist position is available for the 25-26 school year in a rural K-12 setting near Castle Rock, OR. This contract role requires a licensed Oregon school psychologist dedicated to supporting students through comprehensive evaluations and behavior assessments.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting psychological evaluations to determine student eligibility for specialized services
- Performing Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA) and developing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP)
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student success
- Adhering to Oregon state laws and guidelines throughout all assessments and interventions
Qualifications:
- Valid Oregon school psychologist license is required
- Experience working in rural school communities is strongly preferred
- Familiarity with Oregon educational laws, policies, and special education systems
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster collaborative relationships
- Ability to work primarily in-person within the community setting
This full-time position offers 40 hours a week of meaningful service to students, with an emphasis on thorough eligibility evaluations and behavior support.
