Travel Ultrasound Technologist – 13-Week Assignment | Bangor, ME
Seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week travel contract. The technologist will perform a variety of diagnostic ultrasound examinations, including general, abdominal, OB/GYN, and small parts studies, while producing high-quality images for radiologist interpretation. Responsibilities include preparing and positioning patients, verifying physician orders and patient identity, operating ultrasound equipment, assisting with ultrasound-guided procedures, documenting exams in EPIC, managing images through PACS, performing high-level disinfection of endocavity probes, and ensuring compliance with safety, HIPAA, and infection control standards. Candidates must have 3+ years of experience, ARDMS (AB) certification, and an active state license where required. This assignment offers 36 guaranteed hours per week, day shifts, holiday coverage, and on-call opportunities.
