Hotel Banquet Staff (Multiple Positions Available)

Location: Kingsport, TN

Shift : times will vary

Pay rate: $14.50 per hour

Join our team as part of our banquet staff and be part of our commitment to delivering outstanding events and gatherings. We are currently seeking dedicated individuals for the following positions:

1. Banquet Server

Responsibilities:

• Serve food and beverages to guests at banquet events with professionalism and courtesy.
• Set up and break down banquet rooms according to event specifications.
• Ensure all guest requests and needs are met promptly and efficiently.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and event planners to ensure smooth service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet areas.
• Assist with other duties as needed, including but not limited to clearing tables, replenishing supplies, and assisting with event setup.

2. Banquet Set-Up

Responsibilities:

• Set up banquet rooms and event spaces according to event requirements and diagrams.
• Arrange tables, chairs, linens, and decorations as directed by event planners.
• Assist with audiovisual equipment setup and testing.
• Coordinate with catering and kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery and setup of food and beverage stations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas and equipment.
• Assist with other duties as needed, including but not limited to event breakdown, cleaning, and equipment maintenance.

Requirements for Both Positions:

• Previous experience in banquet service or related hospitality roles.
• Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including weekends and evenings.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
