School-Based Speech Therapist Assistant - South San Francisco, California

Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

• Current certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
• Experience working within K-12 educational environments preferred

• Excellent munication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, educators, and families
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities:

• Assist licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in delivering speech and language therapy to students under supervision
• Implement individualized treatment plans and document progress according to established protocols
• Support classroom teachers by adapting munication strategies to meet student needs
• Participate in team meetings, providing observations and feedback regarding student progress
• Maintain accurate and confidential records in pliance with educational and healthcare regulations
