Packaging Operator Tasks & Duties
Setup and operate multiple types of packaging equipment. Equipment may include, but is not limited to:
Carton erectors
Partition inserters
Product inserters (MPV, VPM, PLU)
Foil dispensers
Top closers
Palletization equipment
Manual responsibilities include:
Building and make boxes
Hand packaging of bottles
Follow all company guidelines regarding packaging
Identify and dispose of defective items
Apply correct labels
Keep complete records of all materials that go through the warehouse
Maintain a clean work area
Packaging Operator Shift Info
Day Shift, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM (2/2/3 rotating schedule)
Week 1: Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat
Week 2: Sun, Wed, Thurs
Packaging Operator Qualifications (Requirements/Skills)
Able to pass a background check
Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
Able to work in the US
Able to lift up to 25 pounds
Stand up to 12 hours
English required
Must be able to follow written and verbal instruction
