Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented paralegal to join a boutique law firm in Charlotte, North Carolina. In this role, you will support attorneys in estate planning and probate matters, ensuring all legal processes are handled efficiently and accurately.
Responsibilities:
• Assist attorneys with estate planning tasks, including drafting legal documents and organizing client information.
• Handle probate and estate administration processes, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws.
• Conduct legal research related to probate law and estate planning to support case preparation.
• Prepare and review documentation related to private wealth management and preservation strategies.
• Maintain accurate and organized case files, ensuring timely updates and accessibility for attorneys.
• Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates on case progress.
• Collaborate with team members to streamline workflows and improve service delivery.
• Stay informed about changes in estate and probate laws to ensure up-to-date practices.
• Facilitate the filing of legal documents with courts and other relevant agencies.
• Provide administrative support to attorneys, including scheduling meetings and managing case deadlines
• Estate planning experience required, probate experience preferred
• Proficiency in handling probate and estate administration processes.
• Strong understanding of probate law and estate planning principles.
• Familiarity with private wealth management and wealth preservation strategies.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to conduct thorough legal research and draft accurate documents.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
