Requirements:
\n- \n
- Active RN license \n
- Current BLS certification (ACLS, CNOR, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC preferred) \n
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience \n
- Prior travel nursing experience required \n
- Previous Charge RN experience preferred \n
- Experience with Allscripts charting preferred \n
- Trauma Level I/II experience preferred \n
- Required experience with:\n
- \n
- Craniotomy and Burr Hole procedures (Hard Stop) \n
- Neuro/Spine surgery \n
- Orthopedic and Trauma surgery \n
- General surgery \n
\n - Experience with orthopedic procedures including spinal fusion, total joint replacement, arthroscopy, fracture repairs, and laminectomy/discectomy \n
- Experience with general surgery procedures including appendectomy, cholecystectomy, colon resection, hernia repair, mastectomy, and laparoscopic procedures \n
- Da Vinci Xi robotic surgery experience preferred \n
- Must be willing to float and take call as required \n
- Experience caring for adolescent, adult, pediatric, and geriatric patients \n
Description:
\n Hendrick Medical Center is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN for a 13-week travel assignment. The RN will provide perioperative nursing care across Neuro/Spine, Orthopedic/Trauma, General Surgery, and Robotics services in a General OR setting. Craniotomy and Burr Hole experience is mandatory and will not be waived. Candidates should have strong circulating experience, prior travel experience, and be comfortable taking call, floating as needed, and working in a fast-paced surgical environment. Preferred candidates have Charge RN experience, Trauma Level I/II exposure, and experience with the Da Vinci Xi robotic system. The facility prefers candidates who can start within 3–5 weeks.
