Medical Assistant/Scribe

Job description:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant/Scribe to join our fast-paced OB/GYN practice, assisting providers closely. The MA/Scribe will be responsible for but not limited to:

• Real-time charting in electronic medical record
• Retrieving and reviewing medical records for physician review
• Documenting results
• Initiate referral process and other orders under physician supervision
• Triaging patients (vitals, confirm chief complaint)
• Assist with in-office procedures
• Administer injectables

Requirements:

• Experience working as a Medical Scribe and/or Medical Assistant
• Knowledge of EMR system, EPIC preferred
• Medical Terminology- preferably OB/GYN
• Ability to work in fast paced setting
• Minimum typing speed 60 wpm
• Strong attention to detail
