About the Role:
Harbor House of Louisville is seeking a Compliance Coordinator to support our compliance and quality assurance efforts across childcare and adult day programs. This role helps ensure services meet Kentucky Medicaid and federal requirements, assists with audits and training, and supports policy updates to maintain high standards of care for children and vulnerable adults.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with monitoring and interpreting state and federal regulations (Medicaid, CMS, HIPAA).
Support internal audits, documentation, and training efforts.
Coordinate updates to policies and compliance procedures.
Provide support during surveys, inspections, and accreditation processes.
Collaborate with leadership and staff to promote best practices in compliance.
Qualifications:
Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
3+ years experience in direct support programs for individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
2+ years experience with administrative compliance responsibilities.
Familiarity with Medicaid Waiver programs (Michelle P, SCL, HCB).
Strong communication, organizational, and detail-oriented skills.

We moved into our new 36,000-square-foot Intergenerational Life Center in October 2023, and are now weaving children and seniors into our family, beginning with before- and after-school programs and seniors in 2024, and 105 children of all abilities, ages 6 weeks to 5 years, when our previous 8,000-square-foot building is renovated into a Child Enrichment Center by spring 2025.
