Machine Set-Up Technician

Job Title: Machine Set-up Technician
Location: Heber Springs, AR
Salary: $25 - $30 per hour (DOE)
Requirements: 2 or more years of CNC Operating experience  / Basic knowledge of machining process (drilling, milling, turning)

What You Will Be Doing
 

- Properly set-up the jobs on CNC machines to ensure production schedule runs smoothly
- Select the appropriate jig fixture for the job
- Add the needed tooling to the machine
- Setup proper clamping of parts
- Run programs and create to ensure repeatability
- Interpret blueprints to ensure parts are created within specified tolerances 
- Optimize machine operation process through accurate set-up
- Perform quality checks of finished parts

- High School/GED diploma or vocational school equivalent
- 2 years or more of CNC operating experience 
- Experience setting-up CNC machines
- Basic knowledge of machining process (drilling, milling, turning)
- Capability to use precision measuring devices, micrometers, calipers, height stands
- Ability to use Mastercam, G-Code, M-Code, or similar software (Helpful)
