About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens assignment in Pennsylvania starting Jan 5, 2026. This 36-day opportunity involves day shifts, Monday through Sunday, with both part-time (minimum 6 shifts/month) and full-time (12+ shifts/month) options. The role requires caring for patients of all ages and delivering a wide range of urgent care services.

- Schedule: Monday to Sunday, 8am-8pm; FT 12+ shifts/month or PT 6+ shifts/month
Responsibilities and Duties
- Evaluate and treat patients presenting with cold and flu symptoms, rashes, lacerations, abrasions, sprains, and minor burns
- Perform orthopedic procedures such as splinting and provide comprehensive wound care
- Refer high-acuity cases to the emergency department as appropriate
- See and manage patients of all ages
- Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR
Additional Information
- Active Pennsylvania state license and DEA required
- Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS required
- Minimum 2 years of urgent care experience or 1 year of emergency medicine experience required
- Must be comfortable with orthopedic procedures and wound care
- Ability to provide consistent availability of at least 6 shifts per month
- Drug screen and background check from the past 12 months required
