A leading facility in Springfield, MO is seeking locum support for Interventional Stroke call coveragenot general neurosurgeryOpportunity Highlights:

• Start Date: ASAP
• Ongoing Need
• Schedule: On-call 7 days per month, 24-hour shifts (7 AM 7 AM)
• Type of Coverage: Interventional Stroke Call Only
• Support: Stroke Team
• Call Consults: Approximately 34 per shift
• Patient Types: Assigned and unassigned patients
• Patient census varies as this is specific to Interventional Stroke call a very distinct patient population

Skills Required:

• Cerebrovascular surgery
• Open and endovascular procedures
• Aneurysm clipping and coiling
• Must have OR privileges
• Immediate call response time required

Candidate Requirements:

• Board Certified in Neurosurgery
• Active Missouri medical license or IMLC
• Fellowship in Endovascular Neurosurgery strongly preferred
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Proficient in Epic EMR
