Federal Work Study - Assistant for Faculty

The Math department is seeking (1) Federal Work Study student at 10 hours per week for the Fall 2025 & Spring 2026 terms. Duties include:

• Assist faculty members with tasks such as preparing class materials, grading papers, making copies, running errands, restocking the copy paper, cleaning tables, assisting with course accessibility tasks such as adding alt text and formatting materials.
• Other duties as assigned.

Completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is required.

$11.00 per hour

This position will be subject to a pre-employment criminal, sex-offender registry background check. In cases where pre-determined, an additional financial/credit history/ background check may be required as well. Convictions that have been sealed or legally eradicated and misdemeanor convictions for which probation was completed and the case was dismissed, will be excluded. Disclosure does not constitute an automatic bar to employment. Factors such as dates of the offense, seriousness and nature of the violation, rehabilitation and position applied for will be taken into account.
