Our West Campus is located at 2400 Gillionville Road, Albany, GA 31707. Our East Campus is located at 504 College Drive, Albany, GA 31705. The Human Resources office for both campuses is located on the West Campus in Building K, Suite 111.

Job Summary

The Part-Time Psychology Instructor must demonstrate excellence in teaching and have commitment to integrating new technologies in the learning process. The candidate must also have the ability to inspire, motivate, and empower students to succeed.

The responsibilities for this position include teaching assigned courses, preparing and delivering lectures in a face-to-face and/or online environment, leading and moderating classroom discussions and contributing to the department's activities.

  • Deliver lectures, prepare course materials, and facilitate learning experiences for the students in the department.
  • Stay current in the developments and advancements in the field of Political Science.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of students grades and attendance.
  • Participate in departmental and university activities.
  • Follow established expectations and protocols for the department.
Required Qualifications

Master's Degree in Psychology or related discipline, or Master's Degree with 18 hours of Psychology courses at the graduate level.

College Teaching Experience.Preferred Qualifications

PhD candidates with experience may be considered for upper division courses. Proposed Salary

Salary is based upon per credit hour rate depending upon degree.

Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and the ability to convey ideas clearly.

Capability to assess and develop students' academic skills.
