Federal Work Study - Administrative/Clerical Assistant

The Physical Plant is seeking (1) Federal Work Study student at 20 hours per week for the Fall 2025 & Spring 2026 terms. Duties include: assist in the office by answering the phone; greet visitors; admin duties; make copies and filing; assist with receipts, invoices, and vehicle reservations.

Completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is required. Basic computer skills; ability to accurately input data; ability to sort numerically and alphabetically; customer service skills.

$11.00 per hour

This position will be subject to a pre-employment criminal, sex-offender registry background check. In cases where pre-determined, an additional financial/credit history/ background check may be required as well. Convictions that have been sealed or legally eradicated and misdemeanor convictions for which probation was completed and the case was dismissed, will be excluded. Disclosure does not constitute an automatic bar to employment. Factors such as dates of the offense, seriousness and nature of the violation, rehabilitation and position applied for will be taken into account.
