Radiology - Interventional Physician

Job Opportunity: Locum Interventional Radiologist in Wooster, OH

Join a leading healthcare facility located in the heart of Wooster, Ohio. Located at Wooster Community Hospital, the facility prioritizes patient care and offers a range of modalities including XR, MR, NM, CT, US, and Fluoroscopy. With a daily volume expectation of 90-100 cases, this role promises a dynamic and engaging work atmosphere.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform light interventional radiology procedures, including biopsies (thyroid, lung, bone, liver, renal).
• Conduct drainages such as paracentesis, thoracentesis, abscess drainages, and chest tubes.
• Execute diagnostic lumbar punctures and myelogram procedures.
• Administer joint injections (arthrograms) for various joints including knee, hip, shoulder, elbow, and ankle.
• Manage patient care effectively in a fast-paced environment with expectations of high-volume work.

Qualifications:

• Board Certification in Interventional Radiology - REQUIRED
• Active Ohio Medical License - REQUIRED
• Current DEA Registration - REQUIRED
• Clean malpractice history - REQUIRED

License and Certification Requirements:

• Board Certification in Interventional Radiology.
