Other details: The facility which is stroke-certified and trauma level 1 is looking for a provider to cover on-site clinical hours and beeper call if needed. There are an varega of 15-20 patients per shift. Shifts will be either 12 hours from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. or 24 hours from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m., with 12-hour shifts fully in-house and 24-hour shifts consisting of 12 hours in-house and 12 hours on call. The role involves covering the inpatient cardiology service during a long-term permanent search, rounding on 10 to 20 patients per day with the support of APP resources, reading inpatient echocardiograms and nuclear studies, and performing inpatient transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs). The provider will also take call one to two nights per week for a consultative service, primarily handling phone calls from hospitalists or regional transferring facilities.
