JOB OVERVIEW
• Job Title: Physician Anesthesiology
• Job Type: Permanent Full-Time
• Location: Munster, IN
• Service Setting: Hospital (28 ORs including GI suites, Cath Labs, IR)
• Schedule: Full-Time; 1 10 procedures/surgeries per day
• On-Call Expectations: 2 3 overnight calls/month, 1 weekend/month
• Start Date: Negotiable upon credentialing

• Patient Demographics: Adult
• Average Daily Volume / Census: 1 10 procedures per day
• Consults & Follow-Ups: As needed
• Case Mix/Clinical Focus Areas: OR, GI, Cath Lab, IR Anesthesia

FACILITY & TEAM DETAILS
• Beds in Department/Unit: 400-bed regional hospital
• Specialty Backup: Full surgical and procedural support
• Support Staff: Hospital-employed anesthesia group
• Leadership & Reporting Structure: Long-established group, >25 years
• Reason for Opening: Increased clinical volume

CREDENTIALING & COMPLIANCE
• Board Requirements: Board Certified/Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
• DEA & Certifications: Required
• Credentialing Timeline: Standard hospital process

• State License Required: Indiana (or eligibility)
• Certifications: DEA required

• Additional Requirements: Comfort with varied hospital anesthesia cases

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide anesthesia services across ORs, GI, Cath Lab, and IR
• Participate in overnight and weekend call schedule
• Maintain accurate documentation
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary surgical and procedural teams
• Contribute to quality and safety initiatives
