Job Details:
• Direct-hire opportunity as an Obstetrics Hospitalist providing expert inpatient obstetrical care• Care for approximately 13-14 patients daily in inpatient, outpatient, rounds, and clinic settings• Schedule consists of 5-6 twenty-four-hour shifts per month (7am to 7am)• Weekend shifts required following the same 24-hour schedule as weekdays• No on-call responsibilities associated with this position• Average 4-5 deliveries per 24-hour period (75% vaginal deliveries, 25% C-sections)• MUST have delivery experience• Holiday coverage includes premium pay• Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required• Must maintain current BLS, ACLS, and DEA licenses• California medical license required or active application in progress• COVID-19 vaccination mandatory per facility requirements• Preferred candidates will have 1-5 years of relevant practice experience• Position open to candidates requiring visa sponsorship (H1B and J1)• Not open to providers who want to commute more than 30 minutes or combine with another job• Facility accepts candidates interested in working as 1099 independent contractors
