Job Summary

Responsible for sourcing and procuring materials, supplies, and services to support company operations. This role ensures timely availability of resources while maintaining cost-effectiveness, quality standards, and supplier reliability. The Buyer also partners with internal teams to support production needs and contributes to continuous improvement in supply chain processes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and select suppliers to meet organizational requirements for quality, cost, and timely delivery.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to achieve cost savings while mitigating supply chain risks.
• Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships, monitoring performance for quality, reliability, and on-time delivery.
• Create and manage purchase orders with accuracy, ensuring compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
• Analyze supplier bids, quotes, and proposals to identify the most cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
• Collaborate with inventory teams to monitor stock levels and maintain optimal inventory to support operations.
• Proactively identify and address risks such as shortages, price fluctuations, or supplier disruptions.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for cost reduction, process efficiency, and strategic sourcing.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, contractual obligations, and ethical procurement standards.

Qualifications

Qualification, Experience and Education Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 1-3 Years in Purchasing, Supply Chain, or Related Field
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of other MS Office applications
• Experience with ERP or procurement software
