Sushi Assistant

The Dolce by Wyndham Hollywood is hiring a Sushi Assistant. The ideal candidate is skilled, reliable, and passionate about Japanese cuisine, with a strong understanding of sushi preparation and kitchen operations.

• Assist the sushi chef in preparing rolls, sashimi, nigiri, and specialty items
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the sushi station
• Ensure food safety standards and hygiene practices are followed at all times
• Prepare ingredients, manage inventory, and help with setup and breakdown
• Support the kitchen team during busy service hours

• Previous experience in a sushi or Japanese kitchen is required
• Fluent in English (spoken)
• Available to work afternoon shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Strong attention to detail and dedication to quality
