Inside Sales Representative

ASGCO is seeking a motivated and detail oriented Inside Sales/ Customer Service Rep and Inventory Specialist to join our inside sales team. This role requires a dependable professional with communication and organizational skills to support customer relations and internal sales operations.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Manage customer accounts, quote products, and ensure timely follow-up on quotes and callbacks
• Manage inventory of key distribution product lines
• Process purchase orders and track shipments for stock and ship direct orders per company policy
• Track quotes and shipments to ensure timely delivery
• Generate sales activity and account reports
• Liaise between Outside Sales, Engineering, and Manufacturing to ensure customer satisfaction
• Follow company policies and safety procedures
• Perform additional tasks and special projects as needed

Qualifications:

• 2 years of customer service, purchasing and/or inventory management
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Sales Force, AS400, and other business systems
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask and manage deadlines
• High level of integrity, reliability, and professionalism

Working Conditions:

• In-office schedule is Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm (1 hour lunch), no hybrid or work from home opportunities
• Nights and weekends are on an on-call rotation, work from home
• May be required to work overtime on as needed bases
• May be exposed to smells and noise when entering the warehouse or visiting customers
