About Us

Crystal Clear Pools is a growing swimming pool company focused on high-quality pool construction, service, and maintenance. We are looking for a Pool Technician to join us in our construction and service divisions while actively working on pool builds and service jobs.

Position Overview

The Pool Technician will work alongside other in-house technicians on pool construction and service projects. This role requires manual labor and problem-solving, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform physical labor on pool construction projects, including excavation, forming, pool bottom installation, plumbing, and equipment setup.
• Operate and maintain construction tools, excavation equipment, and plumbing tools.
• Ensure all construction follows safety standards and best practices.
• Perform complex service jobs, including new pool cover and liner installations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot pool plumbing, electrical, filtration, and automation systems.
• Repair or replace faulty parts and components of pool equipment as needed.
• Provide accurate records of service and maintenance activities and repairs performed to management.
• Test water chemistry and adjust chemical levels accordingly.
• Clean and maintain pools, including but not limited to skimming, vacuuming, and brushing.
• Maintain chemical stock in vehicles.
• Operate a company vehicle daily to drive to a customer's location.

Qualifications & Experience

Required:

• Some knowledge of construction processes and willingness to learn the pool building process
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Strong communication skills and work ethic
• Energetic individuals who have the ability to work effectively in a team environment and uphold a supportive work environment
• Ability to work in harsh weather conditions
• Ability to lift heavy objects and materials
• Valid driver’s license and clean record

Preferred:

• Prior experience in swimming pool construction or service (a plus but not required).
• Familiarity with pool automation, heaters, and advanced plumbing systems.
