About Us
Crystal Clear Pools is a growing swimming pool company focused on high-quality pool construction, service, and maintenance. We are looking for a Pool Technician to join us in our construction and service divisions while actively working on pool builds and service jobs.
Position Overview
The Pool Technician will work alongside other in-house technicians on pool construction and service projects. This role requires manual labor and problem-solving, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor on pool construction projects, including excavation, forming, pool bottom installation, plumbing, and equipment setup.
- Operate and maintain construction tools, excavation equipment, and plumbing tools.
- Ensure all construction follows safety standards and best practices.
- Perform complex service jobs, including new pool cover and liner installations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot pool plumbing, electrical, filtration, and automation systems.
- Repair or replace faulty parts and components of pool equipment as needed.
- Provide accurate records of service and maintenance activities and repairs performed to management.
- Test water chemistry and adjust chemical levels accordingly.
- Clean and maintain pools, including but not limited to skimming, vacuuming, and brushing.
- Maintain chemical stock in vehicles.
- Operate a company vehicle daily to drive to a customer's location.

Qualifications & Experience
Required:
- Some knowledge of construction processes and willingness to learn the pool building process
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Strong communication skills and work ethic
- Energetic individuals who have the ability to work effectively in a team environment and uphold a supportive work environment
- Ability to work in harsh weather conditions
- Ability to lift heavy objects and materials
- Valid driver’s license and clean record
Preferred:
- Prior experience in swimming pool construction or service (a plus but not required).
- Familiarity with pool automation, heaters, and advanced plumbing systems.
