Full Time: Exempt
Work Hours: Monday-Friday: 7:30am - 4:00pm. Must be flexible to meet client needs.
Base Pay: $47,500 - 55,000/year based upon experience/licensure
Minimum Qualifications: At minimum must hold either a LMSW or PLPC* Provisional License.
*For those obtaining a PLPC, confirmation of successful passing of your NCE is acceptable until supervision has been identified.

The Program
The Youth Day Treatment program provides services to youth in grades K-5th who require a step-down or an alternative to inpatient care or partial hospitalization, or as transitional care following an inpatient or partial hospitalization stay in order to facilitate return to the community or to prevent or minimize the need for more intense or restrictive level of treatment. The Day Treatment Program provides services that are more intensive than outpatient treatment and will serve persons who need a structured, behavioral health setting for daytime activities.
As a Youth Day Treatment Therapist at Community Counseling Center (CCC), you will play a pivotal role in the evaluation and treatment of children and families, ensuring a tailored approach to each unique situation. This exciting position invites Licensed Mental Health Professionals, LPCs, and LCSWs to facilitate therapeutic activities that align with the child's individualized treatment plan. By collaborating closely with the child's Treatment Team, you will apply your expertise to create a supportive environment that encourages healing and growth.

Essential Functions
- Conduct individual, group, and family therapy with assigned clients.
- Work with an integrated treatment team, including case managers and the psychiatrist to provide consistent care.
- Work alongside school staff to meet the needs of the students/clients.
- Maintain records according to clinical policies and procedures in a timely fashion.
- Assist with psychological evaluations.
- Communicate with parents/guardians with the needs, behaviors, etc of the child.
- Required to provide therapy services at other YDT program locations as required by agency need.
Minimum Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in social work, counseling, or related human services field.
- Valid provisional license required(LMSW or PLPC); License preferred,
- Experience working with children and families, as well as skills necessary to facilitate positive change in a school environment.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license required.

*Upon obtaining full licensure, the employee would be required to enter into a two-year commitment with CCC in order to "pay back" the time invested into the employee. More details can be given during the interview.
