We are seeking a bilingual (English and Spanish) dedicated Special Education Teacher Support Services to work in our Brooklyn locations. The SETSS will work with the students, providing personalized instruction and support to help them achieve their academic goals.

The SETSS will work with the students, providing personalized instruction and support to help them achieve their academic goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individualized instruction and support to a student with special needs in their home environment.
- Develop and implement personalized lesson plans tailored to the student's unique learning needs.
- Collaborate with the student's parents and other educators to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning experience.
- Monitor and assess the student's progress, adjusting teaching strategies as necessary to ensure optimal learning outcomes.
- Maintain detailed records of the student's progress and communicate regularly with parents and the Motivated Care Services team.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
- New York State certification as a Special Education Teacher.
- Experience working with children with special needs, preferably in a one-on-one setting.
- Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and ability to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for helping children succeed.
