Job Title: Special Education Teacher (SPED – LBS1 Certified)

Location: Beardstown, IL 62618

Pay Rate: $85/hour before taxes and benefits
Contract Length: 43 Weeks
Schedule: Monday – Friday, Full-Time (In-Person)
Start Date: 08/11/2025

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction to students with various disabilities

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

• Collaborate with general education teachers, school staff, and families

• Monitor and track student progress, adjusting instruction as needed

• Ensure accurate and timely documentation in line with state and federal requirements

Requirements:

• Valid Illinois LBS1 certification

• Minimum of 1 year of experience working in special education (preferred)

• Must be able to work on-site, Monday through Friday in Beardstown, IL
