The Faison Center - Richmond School is seeking a passionate educator to lead meaningful learning for students with autism. This role blends teaching expertise with behavioral insight to support diverse learners at one of Virginia’s premier autism schools.

You'll help shape a safe, supportive, and enriching environment where every student can thrive. Your expertise will be essential in developing individual learning pathways and guiding a dedicated team.

What You'll Bring

· Experience supporting children with autism and their families

· Strong classroom leadership and supervisory skills

· Deep knowledge of special education and applied behavior analysis

· Proven ability to design instruction for learners from pre-listeners to self-editors

· Excellent interpersonal and analytic skills

· Lead and manage dynamic special education classrooms

· Guide instructional design using IEPs, VAAP, and SOL frameworks

· Empower staff through training, mentorship, and collaboration

· Champion a culture of safety, empathy, and continuous growth

· Coordinate meaningful learning experiences across diverse developmental levels

Education

· Bachelors required, Master's preferred.
