Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Structural Welder with expertise in MIG and Flux welding to join our team in Tulsa, OK. The ideal candidate will be capable of reading blueprints, laying out required specifications, and handling all aspects of material preparation, fitting, and welding. You must be able to adapt quickly, solve fabrication challenges, and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced production environment.
We are seeking a skilled Structural Welder with expertise in MIG and Flux welding to join our team in Tulsa, OK. The ideal candidate will be capable of reading blueprints, laying out required specifications, and handling all aspects of material preparation, fitting, and welding. You must be able to adapt quickly, solve fabrication challenges, and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG/Flux combo welding on 3/4" plate without run-off tabs, passing a 3G Plate Test.
- Read and interpret blueprints and layout specs to complete assigned tasks accurately.
- Cut, prep, fit, and weld materials independently.
- Work with steel siding (R-Panel) and excel in this aspect of production.
- Identify and resolve fabrication issues efficiently and make on-the-fly adjustments as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in MIG and Flux welding, with the ability to pass a 3G Plate Test.
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and layouts.
- Experience in cutting, prepping, fitting, and welding structural materials.
- Familiarity with steel siding (R-Panel) is preferred; willingness to master the process is required.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
