Job Description
Prepare, season, and cook menu items on the sauté line according to recipes and standards.
Operate sauté pans and related equipment with efficiency and safety.
Monitor cooking times and adjust for accuracy and consistency during high-volume service.
Collaborate with other line cooks to coordinate timing and plating.
Assist with daily prep, stocking, and station setup/cleanup.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sauté station and surrounding work areas.
Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and health department standards.
Previous experience as a sauté cook, line cook, or similar role preferred.
Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, timing, and flavor balance.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Strong attention to detail and pride in food presentation.
Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
